1. AoMP recruiting announcement

The Art of Molecular Programming (AoMP) textbook initiative team is recruiting new editors to help complete the project (currently over 60% completion). The team is looking for motivated, knowledgeable students, postdocs, research associates and early-career faculty who are willing to dedicate a few hours per week to the project for the next year. The benefits to being a part of this first-of-its-kind-effort are many. You’ll meet peers from dozens of countries and institutions around the world; build your professional network; learn about the scientific publishing world; polish your leadership and communication skills; and enhance your scientific knowledge base. For more information, please see here.

2. Reading group closing survey

During the seven weeks’ journey reading Ned Seeman’s classic papers, we traveled from the very early idea of DNA immobile junctions to the exploration of different kinds of junctions, and how to engineer these DNA junctions, and how the DNA structures can be potentially used for “crazy” applications. As the reading group has come to an end, it would be great to gather some feedback and thoughts from you for future events. If you would like to tell us anything (such as vote on your favorite paper, suggest themes or ideas for future reading groups, etc.), please fill in this survey.
